Our Standards
Mickey was my first Shih Tzu, and truly the dog that changed everything for me. I got him in 2007, right as I was stepping into adulthood myself, not really knowing much about the breed at the time—but he ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.I’ve had many dogs throughout my life, but Mickey was something special. He was incredibly sweet, easygoing, and naturally gentle with children. He had a calm, loving presence that made him such an easy and wonderful companion, especially during a time in my life when everything was changing.
Mickey was with me as I grew into adulthood, and he stayed by my side as I became a mother. He was there through so many important seasons of my life, and his presence was constant, steady, and full of love. When I lost him, it left a hole in my heart that I can’t fully put into words. But over time, that loss turned into something more—a desire to share what he gave me with other people.
Shih Tzus have such a unique and beautiful temperament. They are deeply loving, intuitive, and devoted to their families. Because of Mickey, I knew I wanted to help other families experience that same kind of unconditional love and connection.
Our Standards
Our breeding program is built on a strong focus on temperament, structure, and overall quality. Each pairing is thoughtfully selected with intention, ensuring that both parents complement one another in personality, health, and conformation. We prioritize stable, loving temperaments—dogs that are not only beautiful, but truly exceptional companions. Whether purebred or thoughtfully designed mixes, our goal is to produce puppies that are confident, affectionate, and well-suited for family life. We place a strong emphasis on structure and breed integrity, striving to produce puppies with sound structure, balance, and correct features for their type. All of our breeding dogs are genetically tested and carefully selected to reduce the risk of hereditary conditions, giving our puppies the healthiest possible start in life. From the very beginning, our puppies are raised in our home, underfoot, surrounded by children, other dogs, and everyday life—creating well-rounded, deeply socialized companions.

We specialize in purebred Shih Tzus, Pomeranians and thoughtfully bred companion mixes. Each of our puppies is raised with intention, with a focus on temperament, health, and early social development. From the very beginning, our puppies are handled daily and exposed to a variety of sights, sounds and experiences to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
